FAQ

What is the Slip Doctor process?

Slip Doctor uses a revolutionary process that make most surfaces Slip Resistant. The surface does not change to the human eye but the new microscopic surface is like having millions of tiny suction cups that hold your feet to the floor

Does it work on all surfaces?

This process works on most surfaces and is highly effective on all mineral surfaces; ceramic or porcelain tiles, marble, travertine, concrete, river rock and more. The process does not work with wood, vinyl, or epoxyIs this a coating that goes on my floor?

This product is not a coating that can wear off. it imprints a microscopic tread pattern on the tiles that is so slight that it is not visible to the naked eye

How do we know it really works?

There is a measurement of how slippery a surface is. It is called the co-efficient of friction measurement. All of our products are guaranteed to improve this co-efficient. If your facility has to meet minimum ADA requirments, this test can be performed for an additional fee

Why is Slip Doctor better than a coating?

Topical coatings such as acrylic and urethane have their place but do not work well on tile or stone. Often these coatings are subject to peel and removing these coatings can be costly

How long does it take to complete?

Most slip treatments can be completed at the rate of 500 sq ft/hour Tubs or showers typically take less than about 1-2 hours. Commercial applications average 2 hours for every 1000 sf.
